Lots going on here, but here's a brief update.
Although we signed up and were training until mid-March, Kirk and I won’t be doing our annual bike ride to Sacramento this year :(
I'm struggling with a persistent knee injury that's had me off my bike and off my feet in general for several weeks now (grumble, grumble). And Kirk's mom passed away in early April. We'd been losing her for many years as she struggled with dementia, but it's still a different world without her.
All of that aside, many of you have asked about the ride to Sacramento, and in spite of our personal issues, the schools continue to need all of the help we can muster.
If you’re inclined to donate, it will be MUCH appreciated. And hopefully Kirk and I will be back on our bikes next year!
